Antique Victorian Amethyst Choker Necklace

Coronet set with fifteen Oval faceted amethysts ranging in size from 11x8 to 14x10mm and weighing approx. 50ctw. Each amethyst connected by a round link, finished at the back of the necklace with a cable link chain, fashioned in 9k yellow gold. Stamped "9K". Circa 1865. Length 16 3/4 inches.
